Minutes from December 9, 2019 Board Meeting

Old business
None.
New business
Keith reviewed the website development status and facilitated a discussion of next steps. A new website was approved at the April 2018 board meeting and much work has been done to date keeping the old website operational while concurrently developing a new site. It was agreed January 1st will be the “go live” date for the new website, which will be transitioned over from the old one throughout the year.
The Board approved delaying implementation of a $5 membership increase for individuals and families until January 2021 when the new website with membership module will be fully operational. The increase was to begin January 2019.
It was noted that although there was a change to the policy of SWAG purchases to allow non-members to purchase SWAG approved during the March 2019 board meeting, and the new policy was implemented, there was no update to the policy posted on the website. Since the website was undergoing changes, Keith agreed to post the revised policy.
Bob provided an update on use of funds donated to VHTRC in memory of Ed Cacciapaglia. After discussion, it was concluded that Bob would reach out to Helen Hipps and NVRPA with the idea of one or more benches on the BROT trail in honor Ed.
The board meeting concluded with a performance self-review.
