As a board member, I want to keep strengthening the community we’ve built and help it grow. That means reaching out to new folks who want to be part of this adventure and finding ways to make our events run even smoother. With a little more coordination and communication, I know we can make something great even better.
Happy Trails!
Every time I pull on my old blue VHTRC shirt, I can’t help but smile. For the past 13 years, it’s been with me at races all over, and it always reminds me of the amazing people and memories tied to this club. It’s wild to think how fast the time has flown by and how much has happened along the way.
What hasn’t changed is how much I look forward to spending time with all of you—whether you’ve been out there for decades or you’re just discovering the trails. Showing up to a group run or a club meeting always feels like coming home. We swap old stories, make new ones, and keep the spirit of the trails alive.
To me, VHTRC represents everything great about trail running—the camaraderie, the support, and the shared love for wild places. Over the years, I’ve loved helping patch up the occasional injury and lending an ear when the miles get long.
