Continuing an incredible year of running achievement in our region in 2015, on Saturday, October 3, Kathleen Cusick journeyed down to Elkhorn City for Kentucky’s only 100 mile trail race, the Cloudsplitter 100. And as is now her custom, she won.

12 Hour Adventure Trail Run
Held on the same day this year as the VHTRC’s Women’s Half Marathon due to a fluke in the scheduling calendar, the 12 Hour ATR, hosted by club member Alex Papadopoulos, was the latest in a spate of recent races with a woman as the overall winner.
