Entry Process
- Entry is online-only with a fee is $125 plus processing fees. If you need a special payment accommodation, contact the RD.
- Entry is capped at 300 entrants on a rolling, first-come, first-entered process. A waitlist will be utilized if we reach capacity.
- Entry is non-transferable. You may not sell or give your bib to another runner. If you transfer your number, you and your replacement will be barred from participating in future Bull Run Runs; bandit runners will be disqualified.
- You may receive a refund of your entry fee if you withdraw by March 21, 2026. We hold back $15 from any refund. If you need to defer your race entry due to pregnancy or postpartum care, please contact the RD for deferral options.
- Runners must be at least 18 years old on race day.
Before entering this event, review the entire Bull Run Run web page and contact the RD with questions.
Scholarships
If you are interested in pursuing a VHTRC entry fee scholarship, do NOT enter the race prior to consulting with the RDs.
Again this year, we are continuing the VHTRC tradition of offering entry fee scholarships to runners who exhibit a passion for running and/or volunteering but certain conditions may make it difficult to covering race fees (e.g., being a student, job uncertainty, etc).
There are up to two scholarships available. The VHTRC will pay the base entry fee less $15 for scholarship recipients. (In effect, the scholarship is a credit of $110.) We do not disclose the names of scholarship recipients, and they are treated like all other entrants. To apply for a scholarship, contact the RD before entering the race - do not enter the race prior to consulting with the RD.
